As a principle, each instrument starts it’s life as ‘my own’ and only once I am fully satisfied with the quality, am I prepared to part with it.  Building a well crafted and elegant instrument must never be rushed, otherwise, the overall quality will ultimately be compromised.

When I commenced building basses, I was challenged with a number of issues of quality, one of the more immediate was the inability to access high quality pickups, which is essential to the sound quality of the bass. This led me to an exhaustive search, after which I discovered the unparalleled qualities and workmanship of Delano pickups. I truly believe these to be amongst the finest bass pickups available. I am very proud to be able to make them available to bass players across Australia and the region.

About me!

Each and every bass I create is a unique instrument. One at a time—I cannot emphasis this enough. Whilst this limits the amount of basses I‘m able to produce, it nevertheless works to the customers advantage. This approach, in fact maximizes the relationship between me as the builder, and you the customer, giving you a superior crafted instrument.

Attention to detail

I built my first bass guitar at the age of thirteen, I continued to build basses as I progressed through my high school years, each one was a little better than the last. After some years of not taking on bass work due to career and family commitments, I decided to return to the scene and establish a business specifically catering to the needs of bass players.
